Background:

John co-founded Hunt Valley Wealth (formerly Horan Capital Management) in 1995. In addition to his role as Managing Director, John leads the investment team which oversees the firm’s investment strategies and portfolio management. He is committed to helping clients grow their wealth to achieve their long-term financial goals.

Prior to joining the firm, John worked at American Express Financial Advisors as a financial planning analyst. He received a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Baltimore.

Personal:

John and his wife Jennifer, reside in Maryland and have two children, Nathan and Kendall.  In his free time, he enjoys working out and playing baseball.

Fun Fact:

John has enjoyed playing in an over-30 men’s baseball league for more than 20 years.  He is still hoping one day the Baltimore Orioles will call on him.
